Yr 6 camp Writing

Yr 6 camp Writing

At year 6 camp we did lots of fun activities. We had delicious dinner and dancing it was awesome,cool and exciting. We got to go hiking and do lots of other great activities.

My favorite thing about Camp Bentzon was watching the jumping up and around the water. My other favorite things were kayaking, abseiling and sailing.

The funniest part about camp bentzon were our cabins because we all left to go swimming and our room was a complete mess MissTakekrai came into our cabins and said that we had the ugliest cabin when we were having breakfast.

We had to clean it twice on Wednesday then on Thursday we had the second cleanest cabin. Miss takarai said we improved and we did good and then we just listened to music and had fun.

The winner’s for camp concert was Kats and the second team was Kawau and last was my group and that was Mansion. That was a shame that we didn’t put that much effort into it.

And on the last day of camp we had fun and kaden’s mum was playing some awesome music and it was very cool but me and ata had to sit out because we went in the water with toni.

Camp bentzon was the best time of my life and it was cool exciting fun and i was amazed by the ocars and the stingrays.

I had a great time at camp and i wish i could go again this may be the last time i go to camp bentzon i’m going to miss camp and i will never forget the Oscars and the stingrays.

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my camp story i hope when it’s your time to go you can see it to.

In the holidays me my aunts,cousins and sisters we all went to rainbow zen and we had lots and lots of fun on the rides we all enjoyed a lot of the times we  had at rainbow zen.

After the rides we  had some ice cream and we all got to choose our own one I got a chocolate ice-cream and my aunts all had a vanilla one and my mum had the same one as my dad they both had a strawberry one and my sisters had a mint chocolate one.

After we had our delicious ice-cream me my mum,dad and aunts all went on the kids kingdom to take me and my brothers It was very awesome that we got to go on the slides and then we had to go with my dad who went somewhere else at the boat ride.      

After that long day we all had a massive feed at burger king and we all came home and had a big rest we all were very full and tired from the big day at rainbow zen. That was the best day of my life ever and the fun bit about it is the clowns there scary.

One stormy raining morning there were two brothers that went for a walk into the bush they walked and walked and walked.

They lost track of where they were walking so they saw three paths that showed them the way to go and they didn’t know So they were there until the next morning they were trying to find out from where they came from so one of them found an idea and he said to use our map,compass and cookie crumbs.

So they all gathered up their ideas and used the map for where they were going the compass to see where they're at and the cookie crumbs to see from where they were coming from.

So they both found a way and came home safely.

On Saturday we went to McDonald's and my mum and dad ordered 2 big macs and they got 2 cokes and the rest got happy meals we all loved the day at McDonald's and spending family time together we got to play at the park and went out to jump together with our aunt jacinta. Walt: Narrate a story about an Olympic athlete getting lost in Barra, Rio. 

On a hot refreshing sunny day in Brazil Rio the Olympics had just started. “Isabel werth was walking with her friends and got board so she pluged in her earphones in and listening to Pia Mia, Chris Brown and Tyga hot songs Do It Again.”

As she was walking she didn’t notice she was in the wrong building and she went to sleep and woke up. “Ahhh!!” she screamed.”What am I doing here?” She was realised she was at the London Eye. When they started spinning it she was terrified. But when it finished her hair was all tied in a knot.

She kept asking and asking people if they knew the way back to the Olympic Park. Isabel asked a lady if she knew, and the woman gave her a map. She said “ This would help you find you way back”. The it was the time Isabel came to a man and he gave her a spinning arrow that led her right towards where she wanted to go.

If she uses those things together it will help her get back the the Olympic Park. So she added up those things together and it gave her heaps of clues of where to go.

The next day when she final arrived at the Rio Olympics she was tired. Isabel didn’t know what was going on. But when she woke up she was dreaming.

They wanted to tested her blood results to see if she cheated or not. When they found out they kicked her out and she had to give them her the gold, Silver and bronze medals the ones she won.

Kai moana Fishing

In the holiday’s me and my friend Marie went Fishing.

We went with our older sister’s and we forgot to bring our life jackets.

We also saw lots of big fish that were snapper’s and shark-fish they came around the boat and made it fall over and me and my friends sister’s forgot to bring it they were trying to get us but the current was pushing us away from each other.

After that we saw a Eurasian blackbird it flew straight in the water and we saw it pickup rubbish and we didn’t know what to do so it just died.we were calling the bird to come but we didn’t hear the bird so we all swam back together and we learnt a lesson from a lady that told us always bring a wet towel,cold bucket of ice,salt,and a ruler.

We found a big fish in the water and it was very massive than my big sister said put it back so then i said no way and she said it might have babies in it so i listened and put it back and realized that i'd picture myself getting pulled out of the water because i’m going to put it back.

Only men can do beaming also women can make lots of cool things like twisting on a bar also making their body do a three sixty jump on the bar. How to do gymnastics is always using your balance.

Gymnastic is also about using  your balance and staying focus. But if you are not focus the you will fail if you lose balance. It is always good if you stay balanced but if you're not you might fail in competitions.

In the Holidays i went to rarotonga and i made lots of black pearls and made lots of cook island donuts also going for a swim in the blue lagoon.

We got to stay in a motel and get lots of nice beautiful food we also eat lots of mussels,cockles and seafood the most favorite thing i enjoyed about going to rarotonga was the trip was so cool and i loved going on the Airplane.

I also went on the stage to perform with one of my favorite cousins her name was tiani i love her so much and i miss her a lot i wish i could dance with her again on the stage.

Then on our last day at rarotonga we went to the markets and i brought me a black pearl necklace also a bracelet that was very special to me and i kept it somewhere where my grandmother died in her room.

On Wednesday the 20th Paul martin came and told Mr Sommerville's space about making his book and travelling around the world.

We all enjoyed a lot of things Paul showed.

he showed us creative things like making a person walking on the moon someone riding a bike and inspired us into doing what he loves doing.

He told us some stories of him making his characters he always went to his favourite beach that he always goes to so he saw these 2 men riding on surf boards and he said wow that's a great idea and made his characters riding on surf boards so he wrote a book and done lots and lots of writing and took it to the person who makes books and done.

To Michel Tuffery I would like to ask you something how did you get the idea of being and

artist?

I learnt from school when I was a  just your age I  my mother told me about her art that she done in Samoa and her father taught me how to paint.

How did you make a bull out of corned beef tins?

I made it like that because corned beef is bull and i made it a life size shape i love doing art.

Why is art your favourite subject?

Art is my favourite subject because when i was young i had dyslexia and i couldn't see properly so i thought of painting a lot.

What was your favourite sport?

My favourite sport was rugby because when i was 5 my dad taught me how to play and learn.

What is a journalist?

A journalist is someone that researches,writes on a notebook and dose the news report.

Why didn't you know how to read spell or write.

I went to a special reading class that teaches people how to read and make them get smart again.
